Title: Revenue Cycle Management Associate


Mandate: To perform and complete all tasks at the highest level of professionalism* and competence* within the scope of authority and responsibility of the overall function.

Objectives (by Responsibility)
AR Follow-up
1. Denial Management
• Investigate and resolve claim denials by identifying the root causes and taking appropriate actions (resubmission of claims, appeals or corrections)
2. Follow-up
• Pursue outstanding accounts through phone calls, portals, emails, written communication to facilitate timely payment from payers.
• Assure all accounts are noted and updated accordingly to reflect action taken
• Adhere to established workflows to ensure follow-up efficiencies and meet KPI metrics for quality and productivity
3. Aging reports
• Work assigned reports
4. Escalate any trends or denial issues to manager


Administration
1. Attend and participate in all relevant team meetings as requested.
2. Ensure that effective interdepartmental communication is adhered to at all times.
3. Adhere to all relevant departmental, company, and compliance policies and procedures at all times.
4. Reconcile daily postings against client’s daily bank transactions. (Senior RCMA’s responsibility only)

1. To attend all relevant skill building workshops as requested.
